The ATLAS® Asset Tag is used Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) transmission which allows it to have a battery life of up to 5 years when continuously beaconing every few seconds. The device has been custom built to suit outdoor use cases whereby heavy assets such as pallet dollies, truck trailers and other heavy equipment need to be tracked in a fixed space. ATLAS® can offer users a semi-real time tracking as compared to GPS long life asset trackers as it will report the asset location whenever it is detected by a reader. This easy to deploy asset tag can be read by any smart phone (Android) within a 30m range allowing operational staff on the ground to become your mobile readers. It can also be deployed as a location tag for indoor tracking purposes.
