Lanport is an external port multiplexer device developed by Asis that allows opening many ports on the automation computer via ethernet connection. Thanks to the 6 RS485 and 3 RS232 connections on it, it allows the automation system to communicate with many different hardware through a single device. In this way, they can communicate with automation software, pump electronics, card readers, probes, consoles, vehicle recognition equipment and all other devices with a ethernet connection.

The 3 interchangeable slots within it contain 2 RS485 and 1 RS232 connection. The slots operate on the plug-and-play principle, and if a slot or component fails, it will be sufficient to replace the Lanport equipment completely, rather than just changing the slot. Thanks to this feature, service costs are also minimized. It can be used with any application that needs RS485-RS232 conversion.
