The patented iSPOT® iScout is a security tracking device that comes with a variable length stainless steel security cable and a mechanical bolt seal for additional security. Any unauthorised opening or tampering will trigger a tamper alert. This device is ideal for those looking to address cargo security issues. A wide range of other devices are also available to suit different requirements.
Track Bonded & Transit Cargo
We provide secure track and trace solutions for bonded and transit cargo in both container and tanker form with our patented iSPOT® Electronic Cargo Tracking System. We work with government authorities such as revenue authorities and customs of the world to help them address issues relating to revenue loss through stolen untaxed bonded and transit cargo entering their borders.
Our products have been applied as a powerful solution that locks and secures the physical container or tanker valves to provide high security tracking throughout the journey.
The solution will allow the authorities and cargo owners to know when someone has opened the container without authorisation or deviated it from a designated route. This gives them visibility over all the cargo moving along trade routes and allows authorities to better manage trade green lanes to expedite cargo that has not been tampered with. The amount of time required for custom clearance will be significantly reduced, increasing the ease of doing business in the country.
Track Hazardous Cargo
We work with clients within the defence and oil & gas sector to track and secure hazardous and explosive cargo. Wet and dry cargo of this nature are sensitive and usually high value making them susceptible to theft and tampering.
Hazardous and explosive cargo such as fuels when diverted can have serious adverse effects on companies over time as the losses can be significant given the high value of the asset. These types of cargo are sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity when in transit as these changes can affect the health and safety of the cargo for consumers. Given the sensitive nature of the cargo, it is important for providers of cold chain logistics to be able to monitor and report the temperature and humidity conditions throughout the journey.
We worked with specialised logistics providers to address this component of their business through the application of a range of solutions for rail and road based reefer containers, delivery trucks and temperature controlled boxes. Clients benefit from having the ability to react to temperature excursion events in real time and manage the chain of custody to prove the cold chain integrity to their stakeholders using real data.
